https://vinafix.com/resources/how-t...efi-hp-elitebook-elitebook-folio-series.1210/Hi, how did you remove the password form the bin file?
Buy VIPIn my case the Bios Chip was faulty and the machine doesn't want to boot.
After replacing the CHIP and flashing the original dump, the machine boots again BUT my clean dump doesn't work yet.
I bought the "How To remove" package from the link but the description there does not help me out.
My Bios file is not like the one in the description. The G3 machine is a newer model with newer BIOS...
@vince59
It seams you bought a Bios chip with clean ME. I would give it a try.
My question now:
I have 820 G3 and I dumped the BIOS (look at file)
I cleaned the password and flashed it back but the machine flashes 3x times and goes off.
I flashed the original back but the same problem (flashes 3x time and then off)
Should I program the 8mb file, too? Or Am I missing something?
Problem bios old you send i error what? same after clear me or other.Thank you,
You cleared my ME region
I tried that earlier yet
But with this method I get only a loud fan spin, no picture....
In the instructions that I bought from here there are some steps that I have to do, but that doesn't fit with this bios?
What else can we do?
check hardware.Original BIOS works OK
My created BIOS - loud Fan, No picture
Your BIOS - loud Fan, No picture (same)
lock bios, is a file ?Hardware is OK
With locked BIOS I get Post and hp LOGO
