Hello,
I’m currently repairing an
Asus GL503VD laptop with motherboard
DABKLMB28A0 Rev A. The original issue was a shorted MOSFET on the VRAM power rail, which caused 19V to reach both the VRAM and GPU, damaging them.
I have already replaced:
- The damaged MOSFETs
- The GPU with an identical model (N17P-G0-A1)
- The VRAM chips (same specifications)
Now the board powers on, all voltage rails are present (including GPU CORE), and power draw reaches about
1.5A on bench power supply, but there's
no display output, either on internal screen or HDMI.
I have flashed a few different BIOS files but the result is the same. I’m attaching the
original BIOS dump from this board for your analysis.
Could you please check:
- If the BIOS is corrupted or partially damaged
- If the ME Region is valid
- If it’s safe to reuse this dump, or if I should flash a clean one
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Best regards,
