I recently got an Intel NUC8i3BEH unit for repair and experimentation. The motherboard is marked as NUC8i3BEB. Unfortunately, both the BIOS and EC chips were completely erased by the previous owner — there’s no firmware left on either chip.
The board is currently in a no-power state (no fan spin, no LED, no POST), and I suspect the missing EC firmware is the main blocker, but w. Without EC firmware, the board remains unresponsive.
If anyone has a verified full dump (BIOS + EC) for the NUC8i3BEB board, I’d be extremely grateful. Even just the EC region would help me move forward.
