There is a bios problem with DAG3HJMBAF0. It gives this image once and then disappears. It never shows an image on the screen again.​

It does not give any image in its own bio. The attached bios is its own bio. When a different bios is written, it gives the image in the photo.

I have an issue where the laptop powers off immediately once the OS or installation USB starts to load, same with linux. its not the ram or anything else so I am wondering if it could be the BIOS or the EC?? it is a known issue, you can see on reddit there is a video as several people have the same problem :

I have ch341a and I already dumped 2 mb ec bin. If I upload my ec bin file can you please fix it or do I just need to flash the ec.bin that you posted in first post ? Thanks!

Hi. I upgraded my membership and have attached my BIOS and EC files to this post.

I can not load any OS or bootable USB, same issue on battery power / AC adapter - the laptop will power off as soon as it starts to load - but the laptop is fully stable in the BIOS and passes all diagnostics EXCEPT for AC Adapter Test and Battery Charge Check (see attached photos, diagnostics.zip)

I have tried flashing the BIOS and EC posted at top of this thread with the same results, no difference. I have also tried flashing old F.22 BIOS from HP with same results.

As I said there are a couple other people with HP 15-ec models that have the exact same issue, here is a reddit post with video :
