Hello everyone.

I have a strange case and I would like to have your opinion.

I have a HP 15-r003np with a Core i3 and a Nvidia GT820M. Motherboard model LA-A999P.

The laptop was disassembled to do a thermal compound replacement by the costumer, but he damaged the power button in the process. I've already fixed that problem, but now I notice something different.

Problem:
- Clean windows 10 1903 install. The nvidia graphics card is missing from the device manager!

What I've did:
- Reflash bios BID0226C.F45 - no change
- Check DGPU_PWR_EN - 3.3v
- Check DGPU_PWR_OK - 3.3v
- Check GPU vcore: 1.05v
- Check VRam voltage: 1.5v
- Check if GPU heats up: true
Boardview (from a998p) and schematics: https://vinafix.com/threads/hp-15-r082sr-la-a999p.15639/

Does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed from here?
Thank you

@B4RDOCK you need to be VIP to see any forum attachment.
If you need a bios for this laptop, just go to the HP website and run the bios update software on any computer. It will have an option called "extract bios files (for advanced users)" and it will extract 4 files.

You need to dump your current bios, open with an hexadecimal editor and search for any of those names inside the dump. If you can't dump your bios, you can try to flash the 4 files and see the one that boots.
