Hello, we need help. We have Lenovo Thinkpad X13, type 20UG-S0Y100 with BIOS PASSWORD. We want to get rid of this password. Bios EC and Main has been replaced with new one but the password is still there . How to get rid of this password? please your help and advice, Thanks.

You have to read information from the current manufacturer I do not use this tool so I can't help you

Nope, I'm not a technician at all, I have a laptop which needs to be fixed. I'll bring it to a friend, who will hook it up for me and we'll dump the BIOS together and he asked me about guidance which chip to hook it up to. We already managed to do one X1 Carbon Gen 5 successfully, although we first dumped the firewire chip and then we found the right one.

So I advise you not to do this, it can make your computer die, it is imperative to be a professional technician
