Because none of these bios worked on my customers laptop, I made one from the dumps posted here with ME cleared and with the bios region from toshiba website. Try this bios if any other bios fails. (tested working on tecra a50-a with 16MB rom)

The computer is clean. No signs of flux or liquid damage. Keyboard tests OK on other laptop. Multiple people report the exact same problem and the only fix is to send it back to asus

just like @Ptelemoveis, this laptop has a non working keyboard and keyboard backlight. Replacing the keyboard doesn't solve the problem.
