Toshiba Toshiba Tecra R850-1HP need HELP bios password

I need help to unlock bios password on Toshiba Tecra R850
I have searched and found that password is in mec1618
Now, I have question if someone can help me, I have searched on forums but i cant understand:

1. Do I need only to chnage mec1618 without programing
2. Do I need to program new mec1618 and then change
3.Do I need to read data from my mec1618?

If someone can tell me correct proccedure, i have RT809H programmer
