I don't think bios has anything to do with audio, you need to check again.

i'm not sure where the problem is coming from but if it's coming from the BIOS then need to try another BIOS but if it's coming from the hardware you have to check it yourself.

When programming other BIOS I recommend you to download and load both BIOS 4MB and 8MB
