Ask HUAWEI MateBook D16 HVY-WAP9 NB2715_MB_V7

Question & Answer Forums
Okay, I also thought it would boot faster with an SSD, but it's the same. If you think that's how it's supposed to work, I'll leave it as is. Thanks for the help.

I am looking for a BIOS dump for a HUAWEI MateBook D 16 (2024), model HVY-WAP9 (Motherboard: NB2715 MB V9).

CMIIT ID: 2020AP10553

S/N: 6NXBB21928800753

The original BIOS chip is completely blank/erased, so I do not have a backup.

Could you please provide a working dump, or confirm if a generic BIOS file for this model will work, or if it requires a specific factory-programmed file?

AMD ?

I flashed AMD (https://vinafix.com/threads/huawei-matebook-d16-hvy-wap9-nb2715_mb_v7.43784/post-565439) file, but the device doesn't boot. The fans spin, and the Caps Lock and Fn keys light up. The fans cycle on/off a few times, then the device shuts down completely. It won't turn on again unless I unplug and replug the power cable.

Could you confirm if this dump is actually verified and working? If not, do you have a stable/tested file for this motherboard (NB2715 MB V9)?

Thanks.

AMD is difficult to say. Chipsets are also very error-prone

I understand. Could you please provide a stable, verified BIOS file for the NB2715 MB V9 board? Also, do you have any specific advice to bypass the memory training/chipset error for this AMD model? Any help is appreciated.
