Hi There,

Can you please rebuild a bios based on this file ?

I have a laptop that came in that no longer display after a bios update, the customer made a backup of the bios before proceeding, the backup file is attached.

I have tried the files from https://vinafix.com/threads/hp-probook-640-g2-circus-6050a2723701-mb-a02.23720/post-42236 and there is no display, just high fan speed

The bios chip on the laptop is not readable hence i provided the backup file that was done by the HP Bios update application, i have already put in a new chip that we can read and reprogram but we need a bios that can work.

Model number is HP ProBook 640g2,
Serial number is 5CG7402YQ9,
Product : L8U35AV

so you need to use another BIOS, can't rebuilds and rebuilds not all it's not always good
above many BIOS unpass good why not use ?

I have already tried about 15 different bin files based on this thread including the ones from post #1, all without success.
The file i posted above was created by the hp bios update application hence i thought it could be used to build a new image.

that shows the problem is not from the BIOS,
You only know how to program BIOS and don't know how to repair other components?

No need to fix anything else if you know that the laptop was working fine before a failed bios update. If you cant provide a clean bios that is fine.
