Hello, can you help me to fix this bios bin. the problem of this bios. the laptop is no power when i used the original bin. file. and i try the bin file here in forum. the laptop power on now but may concern is the serial number, build id, serial Number, sku number, mac address missing. can you fix the original bin file so the serial number retain.
patch DMI 25$

Board: HP ProBook 470 G5, X8C DA0X8CMB6E0 REV: E
Chip: GigaDevice GD25B127D(SIG), SOIC-8, 16MB, dumped via CH341A + flashrom

Symptom:
HP logo appears, then immediate reboot loop. After several power cycles, screen went permanently black (fan running, no display, no HDD spin). After full teardown/reassembly (RAM, battery, SSD, CMOS battery removed for 24h), now getting 5 long blinks on Caps Lock + Num Lock (HP diagnostic code = EC timeout waiting for BIOS after POST / generic system board failure). USB BIOS recovery (Win+B) does not work.

What I've checked so far:

Flash Descriptor signature intact (0x0FF0A55A at correct offset)
Reset vector at top of flash looks valid
UEFITool reports: "FPT partition intersects with previous one" / "located inside another FPT partition"
MEAnalyzer reads ME fine: v11.8.93.4323, Consumer LP, SPT/KBP-LP C, Production Ready: Yes, State: Initialized

Attaching my full dump. Could someone please clean/rebuild the ME region and check for any other corruption? Happy to test and report back.

Thank you for the quick response! Before I flash this, I noticed a few things when comparing it to my original dump that I wanted to double-check with you:

  • My original dump reports SKU: Consumer LP, but the file you sent shows SKU: Corporate LP
  • ME region size differs significantly: my original is 0x1BF000, the provided file is 0x603000
  • A binary diff shows about 72% of the bytes differ from my original dump — more than I'd expect from just an ME region fix

My board is a consumer HP ProBook 470 G5 (not a corporate/AMT SKU as far as I know), so I'm a bit concerned this might be a mismatched image rather than a cleaned version of my own dump. Could you please confirm whether this was intentional, or possibly re-check against my original SKU (Consumer LP)? I don't want to risk flashing a mismatched ME SKU onto consumer hardware.

Thanks again for your help — really appreciate the effort!
