Ask HP EliteBook 840 G1, power light and button on but computer is dead

As the title refers, i have this HP EliteBook 840 G1, connect to power and both power light and power button turn the leds on but the computer does nothing. Any idea what i might be dealing with? Some hardware fault?

HP no have model 540 G1

Just tried it out the bios reprogram, it stays with same behavior... could it be some problem with the chips, some hardware malfunction?
