"manufacture programming mode is in unlock mode" Go to hp website and download the BCU (BIOS configuration utility) sofware. Hello, I am having trouble with my HP 17-by0315ng laptop. I can see that the fan is running and the hard drive is active, but the screen remains black. I am unable to access the BIOS using any method—neither Win+B nor Win+V works. My suspicion is that there is a defect in the BIOS. I am using the Snape 6050A2982701-MB-A01 motherboard with BIOS file 084C8. My question is: can I download the BIOS file from here, or do I need a specific version tailored to my laptop? Thank you.

Do I still need to make any changes to the BIOS file 084C8?
