I wrote to the BIOS IC, and now it won’t power on; the current draw is 170 mA.
I wrote back the original backup as well, and it also draws 170 mA.
What could be the problem? I’ve written many BIOS chips before and never had an issue.
I also have an FX506HCB where I experienced the same thing. Both motherboards have a GD25R127DSIG IC, and I suspect this might be the cause.
