FAQ

Que: How to find sam connector in motherboard?

Ans: Open Apple boardview or schematic and search for J5100 or J6100, this two notation number is used for SPI sam connector

Que: how many types of sam connector use apple motherboard?
Ans: Apple’s Year 2010 to 2017 models have only 3 types of sam connector (12dp, 30dp, 30dp)

Que: How to identify 30dp connector? Because of there is two 30dp connector
Ans: The internal layout and design of both connectors is different

Que: is that require external PP3v3 power for program bios ?
Ans: it’s depending on programmer. use CH341A programmer , you doesn’t need external power just remove battery connector , and plug adapter , Some Apple laptops directly power on without internal battery connection so you have to switch off your laptop and leave it in suspend mode , and program it

Que: which programmer you have suggested?
Ans: We suggest the CH341A programmer (this programmer does not require external PP3V3), but we have also tested it in TL866, RT809F, RT809H and SVOD. External PP3V3 is required for all these programmers
