I also have a L50-G here with password but the CTRL-TAB-(right)CTRL-Enter keys do nothing... I tried removing the battery etc but does not help. Is there another way to get the CHALLENGE key?

It does not work.. I tried also F2 - it asks for password and if you press ctl-tab-ctl-enter it just enters empty password and at 3 times it shuts down.
