You need to know first which Kbc chip is programmable or non programmable?Search Google you will find many.Search google our Kbc name you check is programable or not.

I have checked it say its programmable but I dont know which programmer can program it . I can't find anything on Google. does anyone know?

i see in google about Mec (1404) is programmable.But not true i check is non programable .So you need buy same number kbc all digit and number same to same hope you not need programming after put new

I am looking for Mec1416 not mec1404 solution . I have soldered the new mec and it doesnt power on at all

You can use programmer Svod3 or RT809H..

Hi, can someone explain what could be the issue? i have soldered Mec1416 new one with incorect firmware than the original so it stop booting or powering on. i have solder back the original and same thing. doesnt boot up or power on. Does anyone know why or what should i look for a solution?
