Help Needed – ASUS X513EAN BIOS Issues After Update

Hello everyone,

I’m having a strange issue with an ASUS X513EAN after a BIOS update. The laptop originally stopped turning on after the update, so I flashed a BIOS dump from Vinafix and a Telegram group that usually works for me.

After flashing, the laptop turned on, but it wouldn’t boot into the client’s OS. I replaced the M.2 SSD and attempted a clean install of Windows, but I ran into the following issues:
1. Windows 11 says the hardware is not compatible (even though it should be).
2. The M.2 SSD is not detected, even after loading the drivers during installation.
3. After installing Windows 10, everything works except the mentioned issues.
4. Every time Windows updates, the system breaks and won’t boot anymore.
5. I have to desolder the BIOS chip every time I want to modify it, as it won’t allow changes while on the board.

I’ve already tried:
• Using EZ Flash to install an official ASUS BIOS, but the problem persists.
• Changing SSDs, RAM (the laptop has integrated RAM), and different configurations.
• Disabling Intel VMD and checking Secure Boot & TPM settings.

At this point, I suspect the issue is with the BIOS dump, possibly missing the Intel ME (Management Engine) region.

Has anyone encountered something similar? Does anyone have a clean, full dump with ME region included for this model? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
