  • This EFI BIOS SPI flex cable is used for Macbook, MacBook Air and new MacBook Pro models for the years 2010 – 2017
  • This is helpful when there is no SOIC8 type of EFI BIOS chip located on the logic board.

Which EEPROM programmers are compatible with ?

Tested programmers ; RT809F/H , CH341a and All BIOS programmers with automatic ID recognition support the cable.
Important Information
If some SPI programmer doesn't work, you need to supply +3.3V to 'PP3V3_SUS' of the Mainboard.
As mentioned that, you must supply +3.3V to the 'PP3V3_SUS' of the Mainboard using a DC power supply.

Sample +3.3 Volt connection pins are described in the instruction manual.

MacBook Pro Retina : 2013 Late 2015 (15 inch) 2012 Late 2015 (13 inch)

hi. Do you have the tools change Serial number fo Macbook, because we have Macbook lock with MDM.

Sure, no problem.
So, my first impression is either I don't know how to use it, either the cable is broken.
I've tried to connect the cable with a CH341a and TL866II Plus, but it says "Pin detected error" with both programmers. I ended up by checking all the positions for the cable and the motherboard connector and I'm still getting the same error.
The laptop model is macbook a1534 12" (2017).
I honestly don't no what I'm doing wrong...is it anyone to go with me through steps, maybe something is missing?

All good.
The EFI SPI cable I was using is faulty. I had to find the right angle to be able to read&write.
My macbook is back to life now!
