The Surface Pro X is a 2-in-1 detachable tablet computer developed by Microsoft. It is the seventh generation of Surface Pro and was announced on the 2nd October 2019 alongside the Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 on October 2, 2019. The device starts at $999/£999 and will launch on the 5th November in the US and 19th November in the UKUnlike any previous Surface Pro, the Surface Pro X comes with a Microsoft SQ1 ARM processor, co-developed between Microsoft and Qualcomm, and based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx, Microsoft claim that it has 3x the performance of a Macbook air while also having a 13h battery life This is due to ARM processors being much more power efficient than traditional X86 processors, which previous Surface Pros and the Surface Pro 7 have.
