I have a working machine.. DVD ok.. I just set the model of the laptop .. but by mistake, I choose model Inspiron 5584 and not Inspiron 5583 .. after I do this DVD not work.. so I check another laptop Inspiron 5584 to see the motherboard.. and the only thing I can tell was on the motherboard...

i check both models inspiron 5584 this 100% does not have connector for DVD drive... inspiron 5583 this model has connector for DVD drive

bcuz i need to rewrite all bios .. it is set for wrong version ..

i cant because was new motherboard when turn on first time ask for model but by mistake select inspiron 5584 this version not have DVD... so now even if i flash from dell support each time says inspiron 5584 in bios but machine is inspiron 5583 DVD drive version

I used the wrong setting now the motherboard is set to inspiron 5584 and DVD drive not recognised.. can you fix bios for inspiron 5583 bolt 2sp dis 4gb 17931-1 i have attached my old bios

I tried clear mes.zip when I enter my tag and upgrade firmware .. it now has delay.. when turning on.. caps lock light turns on then off twice same with Dell Logo before booting into Windows.. i have attached firmware.. can you help again

because issue dell splash logo delay.. machine take 1 min to switch on.. rear thunderbolt and adjacent usb rear ok.. no hardware problem but after use your flash .. machine turn on 10-15 sec.. but now rear thunderbolt and adjacent usb not working.. all other ports ok so now hardware...
