thanks for your reply. it freezing on IBM thinkpad LOGO. Do I need to reprogramming Bios chip as well?

No, how was it before?

before it was possible to see the lock and I was able to type password 3 times

I did. Then it works. the lock back. But I don't have Supervisor password to bypass. Do you mind double check if hexadecimal code password has been done correctly or may you send me that EEprom for thinkpad t41 bin file with no password.
