Info for all:: Password ARE in 16MB chip in this model . (Left chip on board).
So don't send 32MB file backup.

You can unlock via 16MB but you need modyfi oryginal file, you can't take file from other laptop!!
Then when you reset via bios security setting to default, then error notifi was REMOVE for ever - work only with oryginal 16MB file.

I often use UEFI Tool to create the new bios with bios region downloaded from the support website, but in this case the only firmware available at hp site has 29MB. in specific cases it is necessary to cut the appropriate part of firmware with HEX editor I have already used this method with dell bios. I think I have to try it.
