I have a question about changing the serial number on these Dell bios. I have a couple of Optiplex 9010 that don't post, I don't get a Dell logo or anything. The power is on but doesn't boot. I took the BIOS from a working Optiplex 9010 and wrote that to the machine that wasn't booting. It worked but now they both have the same Service Tag. Do you know how I can change some of the information so that they won't have the same Serial number? Any help would be appreciated.

It's very difficult to change some models and need to buy a $25 patch
