Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Acer laptop (TravelMate P214-53 series, motherboard model DAZ8IAMBACO Rev C).
When I press the power button, the laptop powers on — lights and fans start — but after a few seconds it stops and doesn’t POST. There is no display and no beeps.

I suspect the BIOS might be corrupted, so I would like to test this by flashing a known-good or compatible BIOS file for this exact motherboard revision.

If anyone has:

a working BIOS dump for DAZ8IAMBACO Rev C

information about BIOS compatibility for this board

or guidance on how to recover/flash the BIOS (programmer, jumper points, etc.)

…I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

I previously received a BIOS ROM from the technician thienbui, but it was not working. After flashing it, the situation got worse: the keyboard backlight and the fans no longer powered on.
I then reprogrammed my previous BIOS backup, and the laptop returned to the same condition as before.
