just the laptop doesn't boot from the hdd on you bios got on screen "reboot and select proper boot device..."
 
HDD is detection but no booting.
In old bios (hdd boting) i have:\
OS Mode Selection: CSM and UEFI OS
on you BIOS i not have option "CSM and UEFI OS" i got only UEFI disable or enable.

Not all laptops can convert UEFI, You may need to delete all partitions and reformat them to the UEFI standard
 
I put another disk and Windows boot now but not want charging battery, still need EC.BIN.
