The motherboard contains only two memory chips: W25Q64FVSIQ 8192 kb and W25Q80DVSIG 1024 kb. Where did you get to read 128 kb ec rom? I do not need a vip account because I have already downloaded the necessary files from vinafix to this platform but I am wondering if I managed to read ec rom?
Hi, i have ASUS ROG G752VY Rev 2.2 motherboard. The motherboard contains the IT8995VG-128 kbc chip. Is the system programmable via the keyboard connector or does it have its own memory spi? From which Ic is the EC ROM KBC 128kb input read?
Ok. I just unlocked bios password in my Fujitsu Celsius H730. KBC's MB90F376 replacement did not help anything. The saved bios checksum is in the W25Q64 memory.
I waited three weeks, if the seller from China does not lie, kbc was new. There were no traces of soldering and in my opinion it looked new. This kbc is programmed or have external memory eprom only? If have external memory eprom only so maybe password is in 25Q64 or 25Q32 chip?
Today I just replaced KBC MB90F376 with a new one. I uploaded 3 bios file from this forum. The administrator password is still required. It looks like the password is sewn into the memory of the bios. Is any solution available?
