Remove the resistance to separate the circuit. Once removed it measures in diode mode (red terminal in GND and black terminal in both points of the removed R). You tell me the measurement values that it gives you.
It's encrypted ... at this moment I just know it's a RAM driver, which usually never gets damaged alone. It is possible that the CPU is short. Measure the ram coil, in diode mode, tell me the measurement.
It measures continuity GND to resistor, it has to whistle, since you have a short one.
If you whistle, solder a wire in that resistor and through a power supply, inject 3.3VDC and see what component is heated in the plate.
