no it's not a harware problem, juste I lost bios bin file actually it's another laptop (Elitebook 840 G3) I saved bios bin file long time ago (16 and 8Mbits) but I lost it wildly definitely. so the laptop is emptied without bios. My question is it possible to use other bios or a bios programed...

Thanks for your replay I have another problem I have another HP Elitebook 840 G3 by mistake I emptied the two chips I lost I deleted it ( 16 and 8 MB ) I tested several bios but is still black screen do you have a solution for that? thank you in advance for your return

I don't have the 16MB password bios file I didn't manage to save the second ship I think it is damaged but the laptop still works with the screen on laptop working i tried to flash with several files after flashing the bios update and the password comes back
