I'm hoping someone with experience can help.
This board originally had both USB-C controllers shorted, so I replaced both of them. During troubleshooting, I found that the UF260 EEPROM was completely blank, most likely because of the short. I replaced the original 8-pin EEPROM with a new one.
Since I didn't have a backup of the original UF260 contents, I read and saved the EEPROM contents from the MagSafe controller (U5660) and programmed that dump into the new UF260 EEPROM.
After doing that, the laptop successfully negotiates 20V, powers on, and charges through both USB-C ports. However, neither USB-C port detects any USB devices.
My assumption is that the U5660 EEPROM dump doesn't contain the USB data configuration that's normally stored in the original UF260 EEPROM. As a result, USB Power Delivery and charging work correctly, but USB data functionality is missing.
