hi, when bios was updating, the computer turned off. It can not turn on, but board getting warm. Can flashing bios directly to chip fix it? it is a ASUS FA706I 17” laptop. Board number DA0BKXMB8D0 Rev D
Yeah I found the power rail for +1.2V SUS has a .3 ohm short on it. not sure if that is supposed to be like that but I assume not. I reprogrammed BIOS IC and no difference...
so if Caps lock has 5 slow and 3 fast blinks will this fix it? I take it I will need to remove the BIOS IC to hook up to my Xgecu Pro TL866 II Plus. Can I just replace the bin file on the chip directly with the file you provided?
